The classes listed in this schedule are designed for IBEW 569 members who wish to further their education. If you are interested in attending Journeyman classes at the Electrical Training Institute, please read through the schedule and follow the simple registration instructions.

Summer 2021 Journeyman classes will be conducted via Zoom (online platform) unless noted.
A featured class and certification is the ELECTRIC VEHICLE INFRASTRUCTURE TRAINING PROGRAM (EVITP)! NOTE: EVITP certifications will only be issued by EVITP to CA state-certified general electricians with a passing score on the EVITP final exam and a minimum of 18 hours of attendance. The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP) has been established to provide the Electric Vehicle Transportation sector of the electrical industry, and all stakeholders, a structured platform to facilitate training and certification for the installation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) across Residential and Commercial/Public markets. The program addresses the technical requirements, safety imperatives and performance integrity of industry partners. Students must pass the hands-on and written to successfully complete the course.
