IBEW 569 members working for National Electric Works are working on “East Tower Substation replacement” at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, a 16 month project.
Workers on the project are Foreman Travis Krahel, JW Mark Hooper, JW Justin Miller, JW Jason Bowler (not pictured) and Apprentice Jose Nieto Predomo. The project is to renovate and replace an electric room from 1970’s, which provides Normal and Emergency power to the 1970’s East Tower addition to the hospital. Which includes providing power to patient rooms, Operating Rooms, surgical equipment sterilization and much more.
