Unfortunately, the General Contractor has wasted valuable philanthropic dollars and selected an out-of-town sub-contractor. Their hiring practices are killing more than 50 local middle-class jobs and jeopardizing the entire next season of the Symphony.
These are jobs that support San Diego’s working families and communities. For too long, these kind of shady development deals have chipped away at wages and benefits, stretching family budgets thinner and thinner and adversely affecting our communities.
The Symphony and their contractors should take seriously their responsibility to invest in our communities!
