We mourn the passing of Retired Journeyman Inside Wireman Brother William Brady, who was 69 years old, and had been a Local 569 member for over 22 years.
Brother Brady already had a wealth of experience, by the time he came to our Local, in 2003. He began working at Industrial Electric, as a Wireman PE. He stayed with them for almost a year. Then within the next few months, William passed this Local’s Journeyman Inside Wireman’s exam. Over the next 16 years, he would work at: Dynalectric (3 dispatches), Southland, Neal Elec. (3 dispatches), Saturn (2 dispatches), Baker Elec. (3 dispatches), Phazer (2 dispatches), HMT, Chula Vista, Davies, Big Sky, and Precision. During his career, William was dispatched as a Foreman to a Buescher Electric project. He also took several dispatches to Freeman, GES, Edlen, and Champion.
After William fully retired in March 2024, he took on a few hobbies. William enjoyed going to the gym, and playing the saxophone. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Pat, his daughters, Erica and Lillia, and his granddaughter Scarlett. We will remember William as kind and amiable whenever he’d come into our Hall. We will miss him.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 at 11:00 am.
