Volunteer at our Earth Fair Booth in Balboa Park on Sunday, April 28th!
San Diego was home to one of the very first Earth Day Fairs in the United States and since then, it’s grown to be one of the largest in the country. It’s a fun day to connect with the community in Balboa Park, eat good food, listen to music and learn about all things “green.”

WHEN: Sunday, April 28th. We are asking volunteers to sign up for 2-hour shifts starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 4:30 p.m.

4/22/19 Update from Mitrosky Micah
We’ll be doing a fun action related to the Green New Deal – will train you on the details when you arrive. I will also have drinks, snacks and sunblock to keep you energized and hydrated.
The park will be very crowded so plan to allow a little extra time for arrival at the booth. Below is info on booth location and helpful tips on transportation:
We are booth #115 in Exhibit Area 1 – El Prado West. We are not far from the Museum of Man. Here is a map: http://www.earthdayweb.org/Maps/Area1layout.pdf
With 70,000 attendees, parking and transportation can be challenging. Plan to arrive early and take transit or bike, if possible. These tips should help you have a smoother transportation experience: http://www.earthdayweb.org/EFExh/ExhInstructions.pdf
