“Nearly three years after the approval of San Diego’s Climate Action Plan, our city’s most vulnerable communities are still struggling with harmful air pollution, lack of access to affordable, practical mass transit and barriers to clean energy projects like local solar. These same vulnerable residents are being hit first and worst by the devastating impacts of the climate crisis. This is unacceptable. The City’s Climate Action Plan lays out a path to achieve equity and our environmental justice communities deserve concrete actions, transparency and investments to make these commitments a reality.”
