Congratulations Dana Morgan on your well-deserved retirement!
Dana has been with IBEW 569 for 29 years – just two weeks shy of 30 years!
Nick Segura, IBEW 569 Business Manager exclaimed, “Dana has helped our lives and work immensely by being our Rock of Gibraltar – keeping us together, running our operations smoothly, and deftly taking on new challenges with compassion and perseverance.
She started as a member of 569 in the early 70’s as an electrician in the shipyards. She later became our bookkeeper, assistant to the business manager and in 2004 became our office Manager.
Notably, Dana Morgan is a Third Generation staff member – her grandmother in the early 50’s was our bookkeeper (known as Mrs. B) and Dana’s mother worked for our training center for 20 years!
Dana plans to spend her retirement in bliss and will pursue her hobbies of crochet, sewing, scrapbooking, gardening, and travel – with plans to go to Thailand and Hawaii.
Thank you Dana for your outstanding service. We wish you the best in your retirement . #OffTheClock
