Please see this memo and update for our Electrical Training Institute students.
ETI Students,
Let me start with a heartfelt thanks to all students, instructors, and sta for the hard work and flexibility you have provided over the past couple of months. Making the adjustments necessary to complete the Spring ’20 semester was not an easy task, but everyone stepped up to the challenge and we were able to close out the semester very close to our original end of semester date. This accomplishment is truly a testament to the resilience and dedication of the group, and I thank you for it.
As I mentioned, we were able to close out the Spring ’20 semester and we have moved our full attention to the Summer. We will start classes on May 27th and will deliver the lecture portions of the semester utilizing the Zoom platform. The second half of the semester will be dependent on our ability to reopen the training institute on July 15th so we can deliver the hands-on portion of classes. Books will be available, and the bookstore will be open in San Diego and Imperial Valley starting May 20th until June 5th from 2:30p-4:30p. We will allow five students at a time into the San Diego location to purchase books and masks must always be worn while in the San Diego or Imperial Valley building.
We will continue to provide information and direction on how we are moving forward, so stay connected with student council reps, look for letters and emails from ETI as well as social media and website updates, and please continue to communicate with your fellow classmates. Thank you again and stay safe and healthy.
