We mourn the passing of Retired Journeyman Inside Wireman Brother Ronald Glynn, who was 90 years old, and had been a Local 569 and IBEW member for over 64 years.
Brother Glynn initially obligated into IBEW membership in 1961, at Local 353, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By late 1970, Ronald had found his way to San Diego, and began work at Robby’s Electric. From there, he would secure more experience at Foshay Electric, Bechtel Unit 1 (San Onofre), Fischbach & Moore, Owl Electric, and Southland Electric (where he’d spend more than 18½ years, before retiring in January 1997.
Ronald had an easy-going manner, and would lift your spirits, if you were lucky enough to be in his orbit. He will be greatly missed.
