IBEW 569 electricians and power professionals are building the new high-tech, energy efficient Kaiser Permanente San Diego Central Hospital.

This Kaiser Hospital is being built under a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) and at peak construction, we have had over 300 members working on this project. Our IBEW 569 members are known for their excellent work, advanced technology and skilled training, and for delivering high-quality construction projects.

The new Kaiser Permanente San Diego Central Hospital is seeking LEED Gold certification and incorporates the latest technologies and sustainable materials to increase energy efficiency and support a greener environment, including a solar array on its parking garage. It is estimated that the new hospital will open in 2017.
