IBEW 569 Gives Back | Day of Service 2022

​Greetings Brothers and Sisters of IBEW 569:

Due to COVID and a shortage of supplies, we are re-scheduling our IBEW 569 Day of Service from May 21st to Saturday, August 6th.  We are also adding service locations to our day and will be gathering at IBEW 569 on 8/6/22 at 7:00am to be deployed to community centers. Here is the revised information:

Join IBEW Local 569 – the electrical workers’ union – to renovate and upgrade electrical systems for The Historical Fire Station 19 and Sherman Heights Community Center​ on Saturday, August 6th.

WHAT: IBEW 569 Gives Back | Day of Service 2022

WHERE: IBEW 569 at 7:00am, 4545 Viewridge Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123

We’ll meet at IBEW 569 at 7:00am, share logistics, and then be deployed to: The Historical Fire Station 19, 3601 Ocean View Blvd, San Diego, CA 92113, OR Sherman Heights Community Center, 2258 Island Avenue, San Diego, CA 92102.)

(In years past, we have partnered with Rebuilding Together to repair homes in need of our electrical work. Due to COVID, Rebuilding Together was unable to move forward with us. We are instead going to do multiple IBEW 569 Days of Service to help repair and renovate community facilities in need of our skills.)
