IBEW 569 Brothers and Sisters:
We have a new IBEW 569 Sound Contract – as determined by CIR (Council on Industrial Relations).
This is a one-year contract with a wage increase of $3.58 per hour – which will bring us to $38.78 an hour for a Journeyman Sound Tech ($43.16 for a Foreman, and $25.20 for a 1st year Apprentice) – and the wage increase becomes effective August 29, 2022.
Additionally, IBEW 569 was successful in:
- Earning Modified CIR – the Right to Strike;
- Preserving the Foreman Pay Percentage;
- Keeping intact the Scope of Work; and
- Protecting our Sick Days!
IBEW 569 fought for a fair contract and higher wages, and CIR has issued their determination.
