The details are being finalized to form our new Regional Transportation Plan. A draft will be released this fall. \nWHAT \nWe are working with our environmental\, community and environmental justice partners in the Quality of Life coalition to support a transportation system that: \n\nExpands and improves mass transit and provides safe biking and walking options.\nCreates union jobs.\nProvides convenient\, affordable alternatives to driving to give people more transportation choices\, reduce pollution and address climate change.\nPrioritizes vulnerable and disadvantaged communities.\nAbandons ineffective policies of the past; aligns funds to support this new vision.\n\nHOW YOU CAN HELP \nWear a blue IBEW 569 shirt and attend the SANDAG Board meeting on Friday\, July 12th in support of a new transportation future that reflects our community priorities. \nT-shirts will be provided. \nEntrance to underground parking located near 4th and B; two hours of free parking validated at SANDAG offices prior to departure.
